... following a guiding hand and support from an old friend and a great music and art admirer, Mr. Dr. Herbert Ebertz, AlexOriginal has established the"AlexOriginal Live-Music, Comedy, Café & Bar" in the Dorint Congress Hotel of Cologne. Unlike the typical quiet and cosy hotel bars, this establishment rocks with laughter and conversation from a mix of patrons from varied backgrounds and interests. There's something mysteriously attractive in this place.
After seven years this unique meeting and entertainment operation continues to be a favorite with locals, tourists and musicians alike. Guests like Lionel Richie, Otto, Marla Glenn, Heiner Lauterbach, Tina Turner, Club A Seventeen and the Back Street Boys as well as the entire Italian government delegation, politicians and sport stars have enjoyed this very special and "in place". By constantly studying the current trends in music, AlexOriginal and his team continually and faithfully reproduce the top sounds of today while maintaining fidelity with the tunes of yesterday. A great number of our musicians and performers have won awards and participated in some spectacular productions. Probably not a day goes by without you hearing some of them singing or playing on the radio, television or film. The list of performers they have worked with include some outstanding artists like Michael Jackson, Chaka Khan, The Rolling Stones, Udo Kier, Heiner Lauterbach, Sandy Reed and the list goes on.
